“Delivering Specialist Decorative Finishes that Reflect and Support Corporate and Commercial Brand Identity - On Time, On Budget and to the Highest of Standards”

When representing your organisation, it’s critical that whomever you choose to partner with can deliver a high standard of finish in even the most challenging and demanding of commercial environments.

Faux Creation’s craftspeople are not only highly trained in creating superb decorative finishes, they understand the demands of Health and Safety, construction timelines, restrictive practices and pressures. Which is why we work hard to support all involved and integrate the needs of all partners involved in the project.

Through our extensive network of long term relationships with product and material manufacturers, all the finishes developed for the commercial and corporate environments are researched, developed and rigorously tested before they’re ever presented as a design solution. It’s this collaborative relationship we have with our manufacturers that guarantees, fully warrants and supports every option recommended.

From executive airport lounges and corporate boardrooms to work spaces and City restaurants. Your finishes will be delivered on time, on budget to the highest standards and exacting specifications.

DEsign brief

The project designers were keen to develop designs that mirrored elements of the airport and would successfully utilise rough and smooth textures to perfectly complement each other. Faux Creation worked from design concept documents and developed beautiful plaster finishes that would bring the designers concepts to reality.

CHALLENGES

The finishes had to be robust enough in this high traffic
area whilst still being visually stunning. The first phase commissioned in 2016 has fared very well and still looks superb so we were confident in the longevity of the finish.

It was important that we had an excellent working relationship with the main contractor as our time spent airside was limited to a precise timetable. The working relationship built and the abilities of our skilled artisans ensured everything was delivered to the highest standard within the established time frames. Importantly, working closely with the team at Viero UK, who supply the Italian plaster, we developed some beautiful lustrous finishes that have the strength and integrity needed, all with full support and warranty from the Italian manufacturers.

DETAIL

The Terminal 2 Executive Lounge was decorated in a banded rendition with contrasting plaster finishes to echo that of the Terminal 3 corridor and give a continuation of the theme.

The addition of stripes lifted the design still further with a deep textured iridescent gold finish that added a warm feeling of luxury. The Terminal 3 corridor emulated the aerial view of the runways at Manchester Airport embedding the design into the finish of the plaster. The sunken finish perfectly balanced with the smooth polished Italian plaster of the rest of the wall.

“I have nothing but praise for
Faux Creation”

“Jason Ebers is fantastic craftsman with a real ‘can do’ attitude. I have nothing but praise for Faux Creation. The whole team were very accommodating, a pleasure to work with and excellent throughout. It was very refreshing to work with a team that are ‘can do’, ‘will do’ and for whom nothing is too much trouble.Faux Creation completed polished plaster finishes the size of a football pitch across eleven storeys in Central London, where the lack of space is always an issue, beautifully, on time, on budget, and with such a great attitude, the whole experience was just excellent. I would work with them again at the drop of a hat.”

The Guild of Saint Luke

“As with all our designs we were aiming for something very specific and special – a Venetian stucco, with pitch perfect colour which, although brand new, had to have an aged look. The working conditions weren’t the best and, although under duress, Jason and the Faux Creation team handled it perfectly. They were all very controlled, professional and superb craftspeople. We all got on very well and Jason kept me informed every step of the way. There are other companies out there that are far more costly that could not have done a better job. Jason and Faux Creation really nailed it, we got exactly what we wanted. I’m absolutely delighted.”
