ORIGINAL FEATURES WERE SENSITIVELY RESTORED TO THEIR ORIGINAL SPENDOR
The restoration process delicately revived original features to their former grandeur. Abundant lime plaster wall and ceiling surfaces, along with intricate fibrous plaster mouldings, demanded meticulous attention to detail to preserve their integrity and aesthetic allure. Uncovering original scagliola columns during the removal of unwanted wallpaper necessitated respectful repair and restoration procedures. Specialist colour consultation with the client and architect was conducted before the selection and application of decorative finishes for the walls, cornices, and woodwork.
